Urban Camino: Two Bridges
A half day contemplative Camino across the bridges and boroughs of NYC.
Join us for a guided 4–5 miles walk spanning the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges, connecting neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn (Two Bridges/Chinatown and Lower East Side, Dumbo/Navy Yard and Williamsburg). Along the way, you’ll be invited into moments of reflection, rest, and gentle sharing at key stops. Through guided prompts and communal pauses, we’ll explore the spiritual invitations of connection, bridging, and crossing thresholds; between places, stories, and states of being. Come ready to walk, reflect, and notice how God might be moving with and through you in the midst of the city.
Each participant will receive a thoughtfully designed retreat guide to enrich their personal journey for the walk. This guide is a companion and a tool that expands the experience beyond the day.
Who is this for? This is for anyone who is curious to engage God in the midst of busy urban lifestyle through guided contemplation, quiet reflection and prayerfully walking across NYC bridges. The walk is about 5 hours and it entails a 4-5 miles of walk spanning across Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges, exploring neighborhoods and communities along the way. No prior experience is needed, just an open heart and comfortable walking/hiking shoes.
