The Gifts of Our Stories - Listening Together

“Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” — Luke 18:16

This gathering is created especially for parents and caregivers journeying alongside children and teens (ages 4–17). Rooted in Jesus’ invitation to welcome and honor children, we’ll enter a space of sacred listening and contemplative prayer that makes room for the whole family to notice and share how God is present in everyday life.

Drawing from the Gospel stories where Jesus blesses the children (Luke 18:15–17, Matthew 19:13–15, Mark 10:13–16), we’ll reflect together on our encounters with the Risen Christ in the rhythms of family life, ways we have felt our hearts stirred in wonder and to experience God through childlike faith and trust

Through age-appropriate storytelling, imaginative prayer, and reflective exercises, this gathering will offer time for both intergenerational connection and small story circles.

Who is this for? This gathering is for adults with children (ages 4–17) who desire to integrate storytelling and contemplative prayer into the rhythm of family life. Whether you come as a full family or as a parent or caregiver on your own, you’re welcome in this gentle space of reflection, connection, and spiritual growth.
