The Gifts of Our Stories: Pentecost
We invite you to join us as we enter the season of Pentecost, a time of celebrating the life and wonder of the Church.
We will gather and spend some time reflecting together on the wonder of the God’s movement among us, breathing new life into the Church and into our everyday journeys. We'll be walking with the disciples along the Road to Emmaus, listening for how that moment of recognition and commissioning continues to shape what it means to be the church today.
What does Spirit-filled, communal faith look like in our ordinary lives? How have we experienced 'our hearts burning within us' as we break bread together in remembrance of Jesus?
This gathering will integrate a contemplative practice, personal reflection time, and small group story circles.
Come with openness to listen, to rest, and to be surprised by the gentle ways God’s wonder shows up in scripture and in connecting our lived experiences with God and in one another.
Who is this for? This event is open to anyone who is curious about integrating personal storytelling with contemplative prayer reflection. This gathering will be a space for personal reflection and story exploration; an opportunity to both tell and listen to others’ stories of courage.
