The Gifts of Our Stories -Austin Storytelling Project

"I've noticed God using our stories to deepen our relationship with God and with each other. It feels almost magical. We become a deepened community."

Story can be a way to make sense of our lives that leads us in recognizing God moving within them, reminding us that our stories are always connected with God's story.

This intimate cohort invites you into a virtual series of sacred storytelling, contemplative listening, and encounter with the life of Jesus. Each session weaves together our own personal stories alongside the story of Jesus, creating tender, affirming, and potentially healing space for one another.

The series moves intentionally, beginning with facilitated sessions that model the rhythm and format of transformational storytelling, and gradually inviting participants to step into leading themselves. There is a loosely imagined telling of Jesus' story in each session and it is pre-scripted, enabling facilitation accessible and requiring little preparation beyond bringing your own voice to it.

This cohort calls for commitment and presence - showing up to listen, hold sacred reflection, and honor what is shared. Our hope is that you leave not only renewed, but carrying a living practice you can bring into your own community.

Who is this for? This cohort is for anyone drawn to story as a spiritual practice — those who desire to share, listen deeply, and explore how their own life journey is woven into the story of Jesus. All are welcome, whether you come as a minister, a leader, or simply someone longing for a more contemplative and connected way of being with others.
