Group Spiritual Direction Contemplative Practices

Experience the beauty of spiritual friendship this spring with a committed group. This gathering will introduce a different contemplative prayer practice and co-facilitate group spiritual direction each of 90 minute sessions. There will be additional reflections and connection points throughout our time journeying together
Camino Along the Hudson
April 4, Saturday, 10am-2:30pm
A half day contemplative camino along the Hudson River. Join us for a guided contemplative 4 mile walk, engaging our senses and reflecting on Jesus’ journey during the Triumphal Entry. Through personal reflection, interactive activities, and communal gatherings, we will explore the sacred path before us—both physically and spiritually. Come with an open heart as we walk, pause, and listen to the movement of God for Lent season.
From Head to Heart: A Day Of Spiritual Direction for Ministry Leaders and Counselors

We invite Christian leaders in New York City who are new to spiritual direction to this one-day gathering made possible through the generosity of the Ministry in the City HUB. Whether you are in campus ministry, pastoral care, social work, or mental health, we know that you each carry immense responsibility for your communities - and may lack sustained spaces for your own renewal.
We will introduce spiritual direction through an immersive experience. You will meet individually with a trained spiritual director for a one-on-one session in the morning and then engage in group spiritual direction by the afternoon. A day to receive and practice holy listening that can shape your journey with God and community.

Journeying with Jesus (Group Spiritual Direction)

Dive into the life of Jesus, explore his spiritual journey with God and the community. This 8-month sacred journey invites participants into a small, intimate cohort of group spiritual direction. We will explore the spiritual life of Jesus, his rhythms, his relationship with God and with community, and his faithfulness to calling. Using imaginative prayer, a contemplative discipline that draws us into Scripture, participants are invited to not just observe, but to enter into the story of Christ.
