The Gifts of Our Stories - Listening Together
June 14, 2025, 9:30am-12:00pm at Neighbor, 176 9th Ave, New York, NY 10011
This gathering is created especially for parents and caregivers journeying alongside children and teens (ages 4–17). Rooted in Jesus’ invitation to welcome and honor children, we’ll enter a space of sacred listening and contemplative prayer that makes room for the whole family to notice and share how God is present in everyday life.
Drawing from the Gospel stories where Jesus blesses the children (Luke 18:15–17, Matthew 19:13–15, Mark 10:13–16), we’ll reflect together on our encounters with the Risen Christ in the rhythms of family life, ways we have felt our hearts stirred in wonder and to experience God through childlike faith and trust
Through age-appropriate storytelling, imaginative prayer, and reflective exercises, this gathering will offer time for both intergenerational connection and small story circles.
Camino Along the Hudson
April 19, Saturday, 10am-2:30pm
A half day contemplative camino along the Hudson. Join us for a guided contemplative 4 mile walk, engaging our senses and reflecting on Jesus’ journey during the Triumphal Entry. Through personal reflection, interactive activities, and communal gatherings, we will explore the sacred path before us—both physically and spiritually. Come with an open heart as we walk, pause, and listen to the movement of God for Lent season.
The Gifts of Our Stories - Encountering the Wonder of our Risen Christ
May 17, 2025, 9:30am-12:00pm at Neighbor, 176 9th Ave, New York, NY 10011
During Eastertide, we will gather and spend some time reflecting together on the wonder of encountering our Risen Christ along our journeys. We'll be walking with the disciples along the Road to Emmaus for this storytelling gathering. What does resurrection life and faith look like in our everyday lives? How have we experienced 'our hearts burning within us' in Christ's presence? How can relationships and community cultivate 'eyes to see and ears to hear' that are open to God's wonder? This gathering will integrate contemplative practices, personal reflection time and small group story circles.
The Gifts of Our Stories - Lent: God In the Liminal Spaces
March 15, 2025, 9:30am-12:00pm at Neighbor, 176 9th Ave, New York, NY 10011
For Lent, we will be spending some time reflecting together on the transformative nature of encountering God in liminal spaces—those in-between moments of transition, uncertainty, and searching. Peter's failure, Mary's grief, and Thomas' doubt reveal the tension of faith, where Christ's presence transforms struggle into deeper trust. Together we can embrace these spaces, finding hope and renewal even in the waiting. This gathering will integrate contemplative practices, personal reflection time and small group story circles.
